Filmed with 5D

edit

The article claims this movie was shot with Canon EOS 5D This camera does not support video, was this shot with 5DmkII or mkIII — Preceding unsigned comment added by Necror (talkcontribs) 16:55, 17 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

According to the official Kickstarter page:

"This film was shot entirely on the Canon 5d, with the exception of the slow-mo scenes which were shot with the Sony FS700."

Whether or not that's a typo, it's what the director posted. Because he did not mention any specific generation EOS 5D, we simply cannot change the article text without any proof that he used a later model. - Areaseven (talk) 01:22, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
That's rubbish. The EOS 5D CANNOT record video therefore it CANNOT have been shot with it regardless of the claims by the director. Assuming it's a typo the article should either put the Mk2 or III down with the caveat unconfirmed, or remove mention entirely because to say its just the EOD 5D is wrong. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 11:01, 2 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
This Norwegian source claims it's the Mk III http://www.fotovideo.nu/briljante-jaren-80-actiefilm-kung-fury-gefilmd-met-de-canon-5d-iii/ --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 11:03, 2 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Well that clears everything. Adding reference to the article now. - Areaseven (talk) 11:17, 2 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
