Article needs expansion

edit

I expanded the article, but it still needs some content and some corrections. Vijay Sai (talk) 14:38, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've reorganized the article based on Indian districts workgroup template. Just added some blank sections which need expansion. Sumanth 03:54, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Average Temperatures

edit

I am not sure what the real temperatures are, but these certainly not right! Maybe someone can correct this?

A Google led me to http://www.aptourism.com/apservlets/jsp/iplaces3.jsp?THEME=District+Information&DISTRICT=Krishna&disp=3&infoId=246 which seems to be the source of this misinformation.

Another issue, is that the material seems to have been copied verbatim from above page without attribution.

Prakasham Barrage

edit

I think Prakasham Barrage was not built by Sir Aurther cotton, He built a dam on the Godavari river, in order to control the frequent floods it getting, not Krishna River --Mpradeep 06:01, 20 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

It was constructed in phases. Cotton was involved in the first phase. See [1]

Two mandals are in a wrong division

edit

Unguturu manda is in Nuzvid Division, not in Gudivada Division. Veerullapadu mandal in Vijayawada Division, not in Machilipatnam Division. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.219.18.112 (talk) 18:33, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

is “district” part of the name?

edit

Currently, Krishna district and Krishna District are used both on the page, I guess it should be capitalized because it is part of the name? —Dieterdreist (talk) 10:09, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

We follow WP:INDIST naming convention with a small d — DaxServer (t·m·e·c) 10:41, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
