Tidied up

I have tidied up this article but my knowledge of Afghanistan is very limited so, if I have made mistakes, please correct them. Biscuittin 11:29, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
I cleaned up and tagged a bit, also added sentence about battles in the begining and also snippet about Tim Hetherington, as it is has spotlighted this region in Western press with his World Press Photo award winning picture. Needs more citations about war (there is lot of articles about that definitely). With a little effort, this could become nice article. User:Pecisk 11:30, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Fixed the galleries...

I haven't looked at this article in a long time.

Someone made some changes to the galleries that made the pictures disappear. The images in a gallery are one image per line. If there is a pipe symbol on the image entry everything following the pipe is the caption

It looks like someone wanted to change the captions, but changed the names of the images at the same time.

That doesn't work.

So I changed the gallery entries, to keep the original names of the pictures, while using the new captions.

Map co-ordinates

Can latitude & longitude be obtained so this area can be mapped?

2 months later, still no co-ords

[sigh] -- 2 months later, still no co-ords? Surely this can be mapped. You can't tell me that the U.S. Army does not have lat/long for this place, surely.

Dec. 2010, No Coordinates

Is there a printed map that could be referred to for coordinates? Is there even a name of a village in the Korengal? Does anyone know where we can get this information? Ortcutt (talk) 03:52, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
