Proposed merger of Knaresborough town mayor

edit

In broad terms, this is a non-notable office, unsupported by citations under general notability guidelines and we don't appear to do this for any other town in the UK. Accordingly, this list should be merged to this article. Rodhullandemu 22:35, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I Agree; Ten days and counting I would say, with the facts given and no other objections, there would be reason to boldly merge the two. Otr500 (talk) 07:08, 28 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Protection of article

edit

Given the repeated unwanted additions about the Town Crier, by the anon ip editor (who has already received a short-trem block for this), should the article now be protected in some way? Most other editors seem to agree that the post of Town Crier is notable enough to be included in the article, possibly even the name of the current Town Crier, but nothing more seems to be warranted. Please change Knaresborough City to Knaresborough Town because Knaresborough is a Town and not a City. Thank you 176.248.66.24 (talk) 10:36, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not done: please be more specific about what needs to be changed. - unable to locate this in the article please specify exactly where the change is required. Keith D (talk) 12:44, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
