Afro-textured hairKinky hair – The prefix afro- implies that kinky hair is only found in the Indigenous peoples of Africa, when in reality it is also found in the Indigenous populations of many places outside of Africa, including but not limited to Australia and Melanesia. Using the term kinky instead of the term afro-textured would prevent this implication. – Treetoes023 (talk) 16:36, 16 September 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 15:52, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Papuan girls

edit

There is an image with the subtitle "papuan women", yet the image was shot (based on its description) in Nigeria, which is not very close to Papua New Guinea. I cannot verify any of those, but I guess it's not right. grin 10:20, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

"Kinky" to "Afro"

edit

User:77.101.177.18 wants to calls the page "Afro hair," and has changed it a few times. I'm not inclined to get into an edit war, so I've started a discussion for them to see if anyone else agrees with their change. Joyous! Noise! 23:39, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
