King County (disambiguation) → King County — The others in Category:County name disambiguation pages don't have "(disambiguation)". TakakaCounty (talk) 01:09, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support. Seems highly unlikely there's a primary topic here. Powers T 12:30, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment - the rationale for the existing arrangement appears to be that King County, Washington is the primary topic as it is a highly populated country, containing the city of Seattle, while King County, Texas is a sparsely populated rural area and King County, New South Wales is defunct (and also presumably sparsely populated). If this were a conversation about cities, there would certainly be one primary topic. This is less clear for counties, as they both have equal rank in the US geographical hierarchy. So I don't personally know the correct answer here. Muraho (talk) 14:44, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment The one in NSW is not defunct. TakakaCounty (talk) 09:20, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- OK, 97.62% defunct. "The counties have little official function and are only now used for land titles and geographic surveying, and as an area of coverage within some industrial awards."
- Comment The one in NSW is not defunct. TakakaCounty (talk) 09:20, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose. Seems highly likely there's a primary topic here. i.e. King County, Washington with almost 2 million people vs. King County, Texas with 356 people (sic) and the defunct King County, New South Wales. Of course, one could argue ambiguity with Kings County... — AjaxSmack 00:34, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment Likely is insufficient. TakakaCounty (talk) 09:18, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose I too thought at first that there would not be a primary topic, but looking at the huge disparity in sizes I have to conclude that there is. PatGallacher (talk) 10:44, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment WP:PT is about knowing in advance which one is more important. After looking up you will find size disparities for everything. TakakaCounty (talk) 09:18, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- "WP:PT is about knowing in advance". Really? Why? I didn't see that part of WP:PT. But if it makes you fell better, I already knew that the King County in the USA was vastly more notable than the other two. — AjaxSmack 17:16, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
