Introduction
editI think the last three sentences of the introduction should be revised or removed. They focus on the law-breaking aspects of the film and basically imply that the film is only, or nearly only, about these topics. It also has other major themes such as inequality, racial discrimination etc., which are not mentioned in the intro. The last sentence is particularly bad ("The film also showcases how the characters engage in recreational drug taking and some sexual behaviour"). I would suggest that these three sentences are replaced with a single sentence to the effect of:
"The film is notable for its candid portrayal of social deprivation including economic inequality, racism, antisocial behaviour, gang culture and drug use "

Something that confused me
editI know this isn't for general discussion, but i suppose my question could somehow be incorporated into the article. I was slightly confused as to why, despite wanting to keep the baby, Alisa hit herself in the stomach, seemingly trying to abort it. Also, what happened to the girl who punched and kicked Katie at the start. Come on, i need help, no one has responded in 2 weeks 82.39.116.172 (talk) 19:32, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- As far as I can recall, the girl who punched Katie at the start is not seen in the rest of the film. Besides, Katie's brother put most of the blame upon Sam, who did not make Katie's life easy at all.
- When Alisa punched herself in the stomach, I attributed it to the fact that she was a bit confused as to what she wanted. She had had a lot to drink and I think she was feeling overwhelmed with her situation. (Galaxycat (talk) 11:53, 9 October 2010 (UTC))
- Although she doesn't have an abortion, I don't think she wants the baby. The pregnancy appears to be unplanned and she never seems to be delighted to be pregnant. Jim Michael (talk) 23:41, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
Paragraphs
editPerhaps a few paragraphs might be useful in the synopsis section of this article. Just sayin'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephencarr (talk • contribs) 08:12, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
