Two Khan al-Assal massacres

edit

This article is about the reported massacre of about 50 capture government troops on July 22nd, 2013.

There was actually an earlier widely reported massacre of about 45 captured government troops in Khan Al-Assal in early March of 2013, after rebel battalions captured the Police Academy. I believe that this massacre was also reported by the SOHR. Both are significant, as they are both among the largest reported incidents of government prisoners being executed by rebel forces.

Should a description of that reported massacre also be included on this page. Should the title of be page be changed to massacres? I might go ahead and do it myself.

Also, there is no Wikipedia page dedicated to the alleged chemical attack in Khan Al-Assal on March 19th. There was a lot of reporting on who might be responsible for that attack, and it was one of the attacks that the UN had a security council charter to investigate. Should that get a separate page, or might it be included on this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hulahoop122 (talkcontribs) 21:14, 2 September 2013 (UTC) Hulahoop122 (talk) 21:16, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
