Keremeos (pronounced /kærə'miːoʊs/)

That would appear to be teh wrong final vowel; it should be /kærə'miːəs/. There's no way this is pronounced "Kara-mi-ose", it's definitely a schwa - either that or /ʌ/ on the last syllable not / oʊ / - not even close.Skookum1 (talk) 18:09, 16 August 2008 (UTC) It is pronounced as spelled, I am local to this area. "City"?

edit

Keremeos is a village, not a city - yet it is listed as a city? Tessie xo (talk) 03:45, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

VV&E Railway

edit

I was wrong in my edit comment - the VVE was a subsidiary of Burlington Northern, not part of the KVR; here is a google search for it, though I'll go to WP{:Trains to make an article request. Its destination would have been Granite Creek, capital of teh Tulameen Gold Rush.Skookum1 (talk) 21:51, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

a lot older than 1909

edit

This was an HBC post and staging ground for freight packtrains way back in the 1860s....the bit of history here is pretty shallow.......I think the Richter Ranch used the area or another was also here long before 1909.Skookum1 (talk) 07:38, 6 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The separation between fact and fancy is very hazy in this section. 1canuckbuck (talk) 19:05, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

You're right, it wasn't suitable to be included here. It has been removed. Air.light (talk) 22:36, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
