The result was move Kate Lee to Kate Lee (American singer) (Kate Lee (folk song collector) will redirect there); move Kate Lee (musician) to Kate Lee (English singer); move No such user's draft to Katherine Lee, and redirect variations there, except for Katherine Leigh, which will redirect to Katie Leigh, with a hatnote. – The stub for the 19th-century Kate Lee does not indicate notability sufficient for elevation to WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. There is also the appearance of incomplete disambiguation between the two singers named Kate Lee, born 134 years apart. While we're on the subject, while it is understandable to have a separate dab page for Katherine Leigh (although the only entries there are for Katie Leigh [born Katherine Leigh] and Kate Leigh [born Catherine Leigh]), is it helpful or confusing when users are faced with separate dab pages for Kate Lee, Katie Lee, Katherine Lee and Catherine Lee? This nomination dovetails into the second set of nominations: Katherine Lee → Katherine Lee (flight attendant) and Katherine Lee (disambiguation) → Katherine Lee at Talk:Katherine Lee#Requested move 4 September 2017. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 18:59, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

- Support Kate Lee (American singer) and Kate Lee (British singer). No such user (talk) 14:06, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Additionally: Roman Spinner, In ictu oculi, North8000, Caeciliusinhorto, Boleyn: what do you think about merging Kate Lee (disambiguation), Catherine Lee (disambiguation), Katherine Lee (disambiguation), Katie Lee (disambiguation) and (perhaps) Katherine Leigh (disambiguation)? There aren't too many entries altogether, and they present a maze to navigate. Just look at the mess in the hatnote of Kate Leigh. No such user (talk) 14:06, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Yes I would say that's a good idea. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:57, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Yes, good idea. Leave redirects at the "deleted" ones. North8000 (talk) 15:45, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Disagree on some, agree on others. 1 of the Kates is a Kathleen, 1 Katie is just a Katie, one of them is a horse so it's not short for anything. It would also add up to quite a long dab. Perhaps merge Catherine Lee and Katherine Lee, and Kate and Katie together, and I wouldn't support merging the Katherine Leigh page - it would be quite lengthy but also many more articles on these common names will be developed. All have enough entries to justify their own page. Boleyn (talk) 16:00, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
- I created a draft at User:No such user/Catherine Lee, putting two Leighs at "See also"; I don't think it's too lengthy, having a dozen entries. I don't think we need Katherine Leigh (disambiguation) – it's a TWODABS where the other person is actually Kathrin, so Katherine Leigh can be redirected to Katie Leigh. If a searcher is uncertain about the exact spelling of a person's name, it's much more convenient to have all similar entries at hand than to navigate among several dab pages. - I tend to lean in favor of combining all variations on a given name under the same surname. Since Wikipedia's main article on the name in all its forms is at Katherine and the article Kate (given name) [that article's Kate infobox lists numerous variants] states, "Kate is a feminine given name and nickname. It is a short form of multiple feminine names, most notably Katherine but also Caitlin and others", I would support merging Katherine, Catherine, Kate and Katie Lee under the Katherine Lee (no primary topic) disambiguation page. Hatnotes would be added where needed.
- I also agree with the proposal to eliminate the Katherine Leigh dab and redirect Katherine Leigh to Katie Leigh, who is the only one also named "Katherine Leigh". A "See also" at the bottom of the Katherine Lee dab page would note those named "Leigh" who, because of the different surname spelling, should not be commingled with the dab page's "Lee" entries. Usually there are separate dab pages for Brown / Browne, Green / Greene, Reed / Reid / Read, etc. However, adherence to such a guideline, if it even exists, is only sporadic, as witness the Phil Reid dab page which combines all three variants. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 11:42, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Comment I'm not well informed enough about Wikipedia policy nowadays to have a clear opinion, but wanted to note that insofar as the Kate Lee on this page has any importance it's more for her activities as a folksong collector. That was why I created the stub; and I would expect that if the page is ever expanded it would have more on this subject. Perhaps, then, Kate Lee (folk song collector) might be a possibility.N p holmes (talk) 13:59, 9 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
- If consensus develops for yet another alternative form, Kate Lee (folk song collector), as proposed above, I would be equally willing to accept that form. However, since, in addition to being a collector, the English Kate Lee was a singer, it would still seem appropriate to create the Kate Lee (English singer) redirect, analogous to the American Kate Lee whose parenthetical qualifier has not been suggested as anything other than Kate Lee (American singer). —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 03:02, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
