WTF SINGLES
editIn the discography page theres no singles section. Why?
Album
editHer album, Inside Out, should be separated into its own page as it has sufficient information and will be realeased soon as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.208.71.249 (talk) 04:20, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
SNME Song too?
editCan someone confirm that Whine Up is also the song for SNME? SAH-DennyCrane 01:28, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
No, the SNME theme tune now is Boom by POD. Dinsdale1234 21:55, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Not sure
editBut the song is being used when they preview the matches for Summerslam.
Birthdate
editIs there any reliable published source that I can independently verify for this information? IMDB, WIkipedia and fansites don't count as reliable sources. I can find age 19 on http://www.katdeluna.com/biography which I presume is official, but no actual birth date. --NrDg 15:41, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Look at the other languages on Kat DeLuna and you will see that I am not lying about the date of birth. --141.157.215.34 23:39, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- I am not accusing you of lying, just not backing up the information. I expect you are correct but there is nothing the I can verify that supports the information. Find a source and reference it in the article. That is all I need to see. --NrDg 23:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, but what types of sources? --141.157.215.34 23:50, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Anything from a reliable source on the net. WP:RS and WP:V for details. Would like a link I can go to to verify the info. English is best for the English wiki article, but other languages OK if the translation supports the data. --NrDg 23:57, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- OK and the same thing for Dolores O'Riordan, most languages state that her date of birth is September 7, 1971 if you can make changes on the English article for that birthdate, Please? --141.157.215.34 00:02, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- Wikpedia is not a reliable source. Find the references the other languages used and reference them in this article. --NrDg 01:10, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
Good reference was found - http://www.hiphopgalaxy.com/Kat-De-Luna-hip-hop-5296.html --NrDg 20:26, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm going to have to disagree. It's a blog site that copies articles from other sources, often without attributing where they came from. The page is also dated after what I believe to be the initial vandalism to Wikipedia, and could have taken the information from the Wikipedia article. I'd put it in the same category as IMDb: popular, but not necessarily reliable. Dancter 20:36, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I reverted back to the known reliable source used previously. Your analysis sounds plausible as to it being just another source possibly using Wiki for its data. --NrDg 20:51, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- As a note, the vandal is very persistent, and follows certain patterns, which I don't want to mention right here, but aren't hard to pick up on. I believe the anonymous comments in this thread are from the same user. Dancter 00:30, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Birthdate

- She only mentioned the month and day. She did not specify the year. The video producers took the liberty of writing the year onscreen themselves, with no basis. Terrapin7 (talk) 06:45, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Random note about her age: Latina Magazine had her age as 22 in a 2007 issue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.229.6.149 (talk) 21:20, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- Why is her birthday listed as November 17th when she has stated herself her birthday is November 26th??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnv9emFrF4w and https://twitter.com/KatDeLuna/status/5780076139 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.35.161.105 (talk) 03:33, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Am I Dreaming Video Premiere
editAlong with the video for 'In The End' the video for 'Am i Dreaming' has now leaked onto the internet. Should that be mentioned somewhere? Raintheone (talk) 01:18, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- I belive the rules on that are only if it's noteworthy, for example if the leak receives lots of media attention or is commented on by the artist. Warcraft82 (talk) 19:31, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Clean Up
editI feel that a recent clean up of mine on this article has made a big difference. Shows what half an hour and searching google can do. The page however has a lot more work that can be done now. When new information is added please can you cite them in the style that I did so it looks tidy. Also no more trivia is needed or rumours... or fan site extracts, because the article isn't a promo... I did some grammar cleanup but as far as information goes, I'm at a loss. I just found the grammar usage deplorable to say the least —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.72.176.172 (talk) 04:14, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Kat DeLuna
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Kat DeLuna's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

On quotations
editI just noticed this today: a lot of the quotations in this article need to be better integrated. I'll start working on it soon, should time permit. However, I ask that people remember that block quotes are hard to read and usually contain more information than needed to get the point across. Freeze10108 (talk) 05:59, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Nationality context in intro sentence
editFrom the article, DeLuna was born in the US to Dominican parents, spent some time in the Dominican Republic as a child but started her notable career in the US. She is likely entitled to Dominican citizenship if she wants it but no indication in the article that she has claimed it and most countries do not impose citizenship obligations on children born outside the country. As such per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biography § Opening paragraph and § Context, she is "an American singer, songwriter and dancer" and that is all she is. Ethnicity does not belong in the intro, only nationality where notable does. Geraldo Perez (talk) 19:17, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
