editI found it necessary to revert part of the previous edit. The last edit had the stub saying the following:
"The Kansas City Packers were a Federal League baseball club in Kansas City, Kentucky, USA from 1914 to 1915."
This makes the impression that they played in a city known as Kansas City, Kentucky in the years mentioned.
The Kansas City Packers were NEVER in Kentucky. The franchise did play briefly in Covington, KY during the 1913 season before moving to KC, but they were NOT known as the *Kansas City Packers* at that time, and it was during the time frame that this stub is concerned with.
I feel that the second paragraph handles the franchise move adequately without needing to mention it in further the first paragraph.
- Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure about it while I was making the edit - the whole Kansas City metro area concept is new to me. —Quarl (talk) 2006-02-02 00:37Z
