It is my understanding that the Kahr K9 is no longer an approved NYPD handgun. Perhaps this should be mentioned. The Sig P239 has replaced it. http://forums.officer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67345 199.223.55.5 (talk) 17:16, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, if you look on the Kahr website, you will see that K9s are still used by the NYPD. -67.77.150.63 (talk) 20:13, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
The production history is also wrong. The firearm could not have started being produced in 2005 if it was already in use with the NYPD in 1998. Could someone please correct the production date? I think it was 1995 or the start of the company. If I am not mistaken, I believe the K9 was Kahr's first model. 199.223.55.5 (talk) 17:20, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
