Sniz and Fondue: Cats or Moles?

One part of this article says that the characters are cats and another says they are moles. Since I'm not entirely sure myself, could someone clairfy this? --66.136.181.57 08:56, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Without question, unequivocally, they are cats.

Their own Wikipedia article says that they're 'rodents', but that's probably inaccurate. I used to think they were cats myself, but now I think they're ferrets. Sniz was watching a show called 'Ferret Valley Place' in a hospital in one episode, and in another, the gang visits a motel named 'The Ferret Hole'. 194.171.56.2 12:15, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Title

The actual title is KaBLam! The L is clearly capitalized.

No, it is not. An interview with the creators published in the recent book Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons! by Jerry Beck identifies the spelling as KaBlam!. Clean this thang up.

I was just reading through this article, and, boy, it needs some attention.

For one, everything seems awfully jumbled. Main charecters should talk about Henry and June, not all the charecters of the shorts. I'd suggest another section for that. KaBLam! on the big screen is a really cool addition, though, you should keep that part. Trivia, however, should be disposed with at a later date. Pictures'd be nice. And pay some attention to prose. Because this one's is bad, except for the Kablam on the big screen part, that's some pretty interesting stuff.

I may help at a later date, but I'd like to see what happens when a tag is stuck on it. Jeri-kun 18:30, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

A source that could be used: Jerry Beck's Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons!

I found a book in the bookstore called Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons! by Jerry Beck. I'm not going to buy it and join the project, but I will ask the other members to get the book so that they can add real world information about various fictional characters.

This makes the creation of separate articles for *many* fictional characters feasible. Having information about the development of the character will make the articles satisfy Wikipedia:Notability (fiction)

Awright, found an article on wikipedia that mentions a Nick Rewind series of DVDs sold exclusively through Amazon, but KaBlam! wasn't on the list. Unless we find a source that mentions the show, I'm deleting it.24.115.236.45 (talk) 01:16, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

This article is written like a fan's loving and minutiae-filled tribute to the show, and not like a properly footnoted encyclopedia article based on its real-world production and airing. Another Nick Segment Henry & June Hosted

I remember around the time that The Fairly Odd Parents & Invader Zim premiered that Henry & June hosted these segments/bumpers in between shows & commercials where they reported news having to do with Nickelodeon shows, show creators & other subjects (such as Ren & Stimpy creator John Kricfalusi creating a new show at the time called "The Ripping Friends") & then it would show "camera surveillance" footage of a Nickelodeon show character doing something in the Nickelodeon studios (Such as Zim trying to get a snack from a vending machine but the snack gets stuck). I'm pretty sure these aired around early 2001 to late 2001 & I think it was called something like "Nicktoons News", should we add this to the "Blocks" section or something? Excessive detail on opening sequences

In the Episodes section, there is a lot of excessive detail about the differences between the various opening sequences. There's also commentary about how certain characters voices are deeper and are "drawn differently", etc. I don't see the value of this information to casual readers. It might be interesting to people already familiar with the series, but it doesn't improve our understanding of the episodes or the season arc (if any), etc. Example:

The opening theme to the show is barely changed. When the camera pans on the KaBlam! comic book, it is clearly seen that the cover is different. In place of the original characters, Thundergirl, Stinky Diver, Prometheus, Bob, Loopy, Sniz, and Fondue are seen. Also, Henry and June dance the macarena and then arm-in-arm, whereas in season one; it was just a bunch of random dances. The ending theme to the show is dramatically changed. Instead of the Skaternity soundalike tune, many trumpets, trombones, and saxophones are heard, along with a drum beat. Though the instruments changed, the tune is still upbeat.

The content is composed almost entirely of personal observation, interpretation and original research, and it is not written in a proper encyclopedic tone. Anything of relevance that can be salvaged should be salvaged, but I think the remainder of the content is cruft and I propose its removal. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:21, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Fully agreed on all points here. I'm adding a cleanup tag and kicking off efforts to clean this up. A lot of small details in this article are poorly written or have a rather...uncomfortable prose to them. I feel it's high time this gets fixed. Doshindude (talk) 00:29, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
