Notability tag
editI re-added the notability tag (diff) -- a claims table does not address the notability concerns. What's needed is WP:SIGCOV is secondary RS. K.e.coffman (talk) 22:36, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Notability
editDoes not meet WP:SOLDIER & sig RS coverage not found link, just passing mentions.
A recent MilHist RfC, which aimed to modify SOLDIER to cover those with ace status, concluded w/o arriving at a consensus that flying aces should be presumed to be notable. Here's the RfC in question: RfC on notability of flying aces.
No de.wiki article exists. Successful completion of missions is not part of SOLDIER. Please also see a note at MilHist Talk Archives for background behind the redirect. In summary, per the outcome of the discussion at Notability:People on notability of Knight's Cross recipients: permalink, certain recipients were deemed non notable and WP:SOLDIER has been modified accordingly: diff. The articles of these recipients are being redirected to alphabetical lists. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:46, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
- Notable night fighter ace. Probably meets SOLDIER(4). Ample sources - meets GNG.Icewhiz (talk) 21:43, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Considering he shot down 4 "night witches", VERY notable. Grounded an entire regiment.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 16:27, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
