As to which is better -- it depends upon the user's screen. On my screen, the two column approach is better. 30em results in one column for me. Pinging user:Muboshgu and user: Buster7. --Epeefleche (talk) 03:20, 20 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

What size is your screen, that 30em shows up in one column? I've never seen that. The monitors I use at home, work, phone, etc., usually make for 3 or 4 columns with 30em. – Muboshgu (talk) 22:06, 20 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ephemeral Accolades

edit

There seems to be undue weight on scouting and minor league play, with not enough text about MLB.

And the section on his years with the Cubs gives 3 consecutive "flash in the pan" achievements:

"In his major league debut on August 27, facing Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mat Latos, Soler hit a home run in his first major league at-bat,[16] becoming the 117th player in MLB history to do so.[17] On September 1 Soler had two doubles in his home debut for the Cubs to become just the third major league player in the last 100 years to have at least one extra-base hit in each of his first five games in the majors.[18] Two days later Soler became the second player in Cubs history with as many as 10 RBIs in his first seven games as a major leaguer."

First at bat, first five games, first seven games... Can we replace a couple of these quickies with stats that show more persistent talent, such as a long hitting streak or high HR per games played? He doesn't seem like a power hitter until the 48 HR season with the Royals. Martindo (talk) 11:35, 3 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

"In his first appearance after spending 10 days on the COVID-19 injured list, " This is inaccurate. He appeared in games 5 and 6 of the NLCS (making game 5 of LCS his first appearance after 10 day covid list); missing games 4 of NLDS and games 1-4 of NLCS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8806:500:E300:BC7C:BB7F:FF1B:BED0 (talk) 03:50, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
