Personal Life
edit"Jonnie currently lives with best friends Lynne and Bernie in Northamptonshire." - This sentence is unsourced and seems a little doubtful. At the very least it's uncyclopaedic.
"He has a pet wasp called Colin" is surely a piss-take. I'm tempted to leave it in because it's hilarious! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.125.55.162 (talk) 14:59, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Cite?
edit"In season 22, episode 7 of Escape to the Country, Irwin was visibly shaken by the manufacturing of harps." the show is English so it should be "Series" not Season.. though there have only been 17 Series (17th series being shown 2017) so this was sometime in the future? People been vandalising some tin-pot guy's page? kids? If anyone can back this up, cite source, else I should be remove I think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.26.191.5 (talk) 14:15, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

Irish link to Irwin name?
editOn the page it says "As his surname would suggest, Irwin is of Irish descent".
This is doubtful (the name Irwin that is) from what I have found. On the website 'Great Britain names' (http://gbnames.publicprofiler.org/) the name Irwin is described as "English - Name of Person; Male Personal Name; Uncommon" and the name's distribution in 1881 shows it to be mostly concentrated in Cumbria, Northumberland and Devon/1998 same as 1881 plus western Scotland and the Holderness area. No mention of an Irish connection. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.185.133.181 (talk) 16:43, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
Escape to the Perfect Town
editThis article says that Irwin has presented Escape to the Country. Should it add that he has presented its spin-off series, "Escape to the Perfect Town"? Vorbee (talk) 15:09, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
Jonnie has departed
editNo mention of Jonnie leaving A place in the Sun in the information. Needs updating to include this 2A00:23C8:918D:BB01:84EC:E696:AF6B:9C8A (talk) 22:49, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
