Talk:Join dependency

Latest comment: 8 years ago by Rubus arcticus

This is a first attempt at an article, about join dependencies. Wrote this because there was no treatment yet and while it looks easy, it's a bit intricate if you really start to think about it. For instance the last remarks in the example could do with a critical look at it. RonaldKunenborg (talk) 09:06, 9 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

The definition provided as another way to describe a join dependency is circular, using the term "join dependency" on its own definition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rubus arcticus (talkcontribs) 12:48, 2 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Example

edit

Is the example trying to show the difference between trivial and non-trivial dependencies? If it is, it might be helpful to explicitly state which is which, even if it seems obvious to an expert. --98.217.134.243 (talk) 22:20, 14 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Obviously

edit

Obviously this needs some more obvious improvements obviously.

I think that section could be better written. It's not entirely obvious. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.6.187.130 (talk) 17:55, 25 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
