Online World of Wrestling profile

edit

–On Johnny's Obsessed With Wrestling profile, http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/profiles/j/johnny-jeter.html, it says he was born in 1981, but here it says 1985. Surely 1981 would be the correct year, as he's been wrestling a long time

Both of which are in the article already. Do you have a point to saying this here? ♥NiciVampireHeart00:33, 22 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

released or not

edit

Has Johnny been released or not. His name is on the wwe alumni page but it didnt say it in the article.--[[Adam Penale]] (talk) 16:32, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The confusion is over that one dirtsheet website ran an article saying that he had been released according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, but WON never said such a thing. The dirtsheet website isn't considered a reliable source, so it can't be used to back up the claim. I would take it as he hasn't been released, as I haven't seen it on any other websites, as unreliable as most of them are, and WWE usually posts a short notice on their website whenever they release someone anyway. ♥NiciVampireHeart22:47, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Then why is he on the alumni page? i don't want to remove him if he really is.--[[Adam Penale]] (talk) 23:07, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I don't know to be sure. I've brought it up at WT:PW, because I don't subscribe to WON, and I'm hoping that someone else does, and will be able to clear it up. Just to note, that the source used on the alumni page is unreliable, so you would be able to remove the info if you so desired. ♥NiciVampireHeart23:12, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Given that there has never been an official statement from WWE's website about his release I would think he should be moved back onto the Employee page with the addition of "status unknown". 64.21.106.155 (talk) 20:58, 17 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was officially released from World Wrestling Entertainment after I quietly asked for my release. There were alot of personal issues that needed to be addressed before I could dedicate myself fully to the sport of professional wrestling. WWE was very understanding and supportive of the issues and left the door open if I ever wanted to return. I'm currently living in Hollywood, CA where I'm pursuing a degree in Business Finance. I work as a physical therapy aid/massage therapist in Beverly Hills — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.171.233.21 (talkcontribs) 00:09, January 3, 2011

To be included in the article, reliable sources need to be provided. Thanks, NiciVampireHeart 07:35, 3 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
