Spoiler warning

From User talk:Tony Sidaway:

Spoiler warning in Johnny Gaddaar
Hi. Thanks for your edit to the Johnny Gaddaar article. However, I have reinserted the spoiler warning, because as per WP:Spoiler, In a work that is uncommonly reliant on the impact of a plot twist or surprise ending — a murder mystery, for instance — a spoiler tag may be appropriate even within a properly labeled "Synopsis" section. I have seen the movie so I know the warning is required. User:ReluctantPhilosopher 02:30, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've read the plot summary and I notice only that it talks vaguely of "plot twists" but doesn't actually reveal any. If it is to have a spoiler tag, could you write it to be more explicit? --Tony Sidaway 11:00, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Actually it says that "he ends up eliminating every other member of the gang". That is the only surprise part of the movie. Every murder is originally unintended, and unexpected. There's nothing much to the movie apart from that. Ciao! Amit@Talk 11:46, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ok I've moved the spoiler warning lower down so that only the "offending" line is under the warning. Amit@Talk 11:50, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Maybe I'm missing something, but this elimination routine seems to be a popular trope in thrillers. Within the movie, perhaps, there may be an air of suspense, but surely it doesn't come as a surprise to us, reading this article, that this is that kind of movie. What exactly is the function of the spoiler tag here? --Tony Sidaway 01:30, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
What I know is that I wouldn't have enjoyed the movie at all had I read this article before. Rest is up to you, if you remove the warning again I won't insert it back. Amit@Talk 04:56, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Although I do admit that I also wanted to "try out" the spoiler tag for the first time, but that takes nothing away from my arguments :P Amit@Talk 14:15, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
The plot section is clearly labelled. If knowing the plot matters to somebody they'll act accordingly. --Tony Sidaway 22:10, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ok, do as you wish man. Seems like you're a spoiler-deletionist though :-/ Amit@Talk 05:15, 31 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Johnnygaddar.jpg

edit

Image:Johnnygaddar.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

How is the film

edit

IS this film good?forget about the critics and collections. I am asking to those who have seen it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saiwiki08 (talkcontribs) 03:38, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I and one of my friends absolutely loved it while the rest of my friends totally disliked it. Btw, as you are probably aware, this is not the place to discuss the film itself. Amit@Talk 05:07, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposal to merge the article Johnny Gaddaar (soundtrack) into this article Johnny Gaddaar. The content together is better for reading. Also the destination page size can accommodate merger. §§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 15:51, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
