Criticisms and Controversy
editIs it perhaps worth creating a short separate section on this, as part of the main body of the article? Currently there is only one external link to the website Jac's Sisters, which has substantial material on Perrin, but I haven't been able to locate any corroborating sources yet. I am also a little concerned that a user who appears to be Perrin at one point even removed the link (described in the edit log as "correcting malicious interpolated falsehoods.") unreferenced tag
editIt seems overzealous to have tagged this. Perrin's status is self-documenting from the references given. Go to Amazon and check the books eg on Don Whillans exist; go to the Guardian and check that his recent obit of Brede Arkless exists. I shall remove this tag by noon today. - No, this way madness lies! The article cites two books and a major British newspaper. Do you want those explicitly put in a bibliography? Do you think the the guy is made up? (*) I shall certainly untag on the basis of what you've written so far. Bob Linuxlad 07:37, 21 April 2006 (UTC) (*now done - can't see it has really added anything to verifiablity that was not easily determinable before!)
- I added two references. Thanks for paying attention, Can't sleep. Bob, you might want to look around a little on other (preferably featured) articles on how claims are properly sourced. Looking over Can't sleep's links helps too. Good luck editing. ~ trialsanderrors 03:26, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
