I copied the pages exactly and added a disambiguation page

edit

Absolutely nothing else was changed. The links should work correctly, assuming the drafts are accepted (this is to make the links fit to Wikimedia disambiguation standards). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.88.88.156 (talk) 19:52, 15 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi IP 65.88.88.156. You don't need to and in fact shouldn't create drafts for articles which already exist; if there are improvements that you feel should be made to the existing article, you can be WP:BOLD and try to make them directly to the articles themselves. You also don't need to create a draft in order to WP:MOVE a page to a new title; you can also be BOLD and do that if you feel it's necessary, but it might be better to be WP:CAUTIOUS and discuss things on the relevant article talk page (like this page here) first to see what others think. Since your account is not WP:AUTOCONFIRMED, you cannot MOVE the pages yourself, but you can make a request at WP:RM. It's not clear, however, why you feel that this particular article title needs disambiguation because, at least at the moment, it is the only article with this name.
The Jewel of the Nile is similar in name, but it's not the same and disambiguation is not really need for that case. Generally, disambiguation is only used when there are multiple articles with the same/similar title and without disambiguation it would be possible for the different articles to be created; two articles with the same exact title cannot be created. Unless there are lot of current articles with "Jewel of the Nile" as part of their title, a separate disambiguation page doesn't seem necessary here and hatnotes work fine per WP:ONEOTHER. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:03, 16 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
