This is a puff piece. Evidence: "In January 2011, Senator Klein announced that he would lead a newly formed Independent Democratic Conference, a group of breakaway New York State Senate Democrats formed as a response to the dysfunction of past governing bodies in the New York State Senate." Editor Mu deleted this from the lede, saying it does not belong in the lede. https://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Jeffrey_D._Klein&diff=1054270939&oldid=1054270863

But that story is a very significant part of the story of the subject of this article. Simply google his name and the name of his accuser. And it is a story of ongoing developing significance. Mention of it very much belongs in the lede. Per wp:lede.
