Source for video information
editI thought it would be of note to mention Kennedy's involvement in a home video scandal years before Pamela Anderson, etc. I am uncertain as to whether to cite the source for this information within the text of the article as the only online source, though only text, nonetheless gives a pretty explicit description of said video. The source can be found here (adult content warning) but I'll leave it to others to decide as to whether this link is allowable in the main article. 23skidoo 22:34, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
- I added a link to the Wikipedia entry: Celebrity sex tape. Do you think that covers it? For myself, I have no objection to your adding the link, as long as it has the "adult content warning". --Tony Hecht 02:27, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
copyright infringement
editthis article or the greatest part of it is a copy of the fanpage [[1]]. did the holder of this site give the permission to User:Tony619 to publish it in [[2]]? -- 84.177.39.61 20:05, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- Actually... the fan site seems to have ripped off Wikipedia, now that I see that much of the formatting on that Tripod page is Wikipedia like. It would be nice to see when that page was first brought online, so that we may confirm or deny that Wikipedia itself hasn't been infringed. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 21:32, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

- Unfortunately the redesign of the fanpage isn't archived, so a definitive proof of a (complete) copyright infringement isn't possible. But considering User talk:Tony619 and User talk:Tony619/archive1 I think it is very probable. -- 84.177.56.28 04:35, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

discussion of contents of the sex tape
editAny clinical description of the contents of the sex tape, which was never intended for public release, appears to be a violation of the Wikipedia policy on biographies of living persons, which states (under Presumption in favor of privacy):
"An important rule of thumb when writing biographical material about living persons is "do no harm". Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid, and as such it is not our job to be sensationalist, or to be the primary vehicle for the spread of titillating claims about people's lives. BLPs must be written conservatively, with regard for the subject's privacy." 128.218.20.69 (talk) 09:24, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
