- Interstate 87 (New York) → Interstate 87 in New York
- Interstate 87 (North Carolina) → Interstate 87 in North Carolina
Both I-87s are supposed to be connected to each other via New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. 2600:1700:6180:6290:CD63:1869:B1AE:B45A (talk) 23:39, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment, I don't understand the table there, but Wikipedia:Naming conventions (U.S. state and territory highways) should be relevant.--Commander Keane (talk) 00:26, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Nothing in the articles indicate the two interstates are intended to connect together. ~~ Jessintime (talk) 03:42, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose—please provide a specific source that this is the case. Otherwise, it's patently false. Imzadi 1979 → 05:30, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Just going to add that WP:USSH specifically applies, and per that naming convention established per an ArbCom case, the current names are correct. Imzadi 1979 → 19:24, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose move. There's no evidence that these two interstates are one and the same. O.N.R. (talk) 19:21, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. The two interstates are not part of a single route called "Interstate 87" (like Interstate 95 in New York and Interstate 95 in North Carolina are). – Epicgenius (talk) 02:27, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
