Merge
editThere's a pointless littlel stub over at Overwintering in insects that should merge into and redirect to this more developed article; when this is done, the "See also" section at Overwinter will need conforming cleanup, as it presently links to both of them. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 01:56, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
I would agree that there is little need for two articles on the same topic, especially if one of the articles contains only a small portion of the info the other does. I think a merger would be a good idea. Jhml 22:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
I have completed the merge of Overwintering in insects into Insect winter ecology. The "pointless little stub" has been reduced to a redirect, and I have cleaned up the links going to it, with the exception of those in this merge discussion. I thought this discussion had been present but not contributed to long enough for me to just go ahead with it. Jhml 15:11, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Locations of hibernating insects???
editThis section relies on one reference to a flimsy pamphlet from Fermilab that does not contain the word "hybernate" or "hybernation." Should this be diapause? —Gaff ταλκ 14:19, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
