I tried. In a quick search I found two dozen similar references -- comments in various places (some divers sites, some Malta tourism sites) that state that Cousteau listed it as either one of his favorite dives or as on his top ten list -- but none citing sources for top ten dive lists from Cousteau himself at any point in time. Typical was http://www.maltastartpages.com/diving/diving-sites/gozo-inland-sea-cave/ Malta Infoemation - Diving Sites: "Jacques Cousteau said the Inland Sea was among his top ten dives." Perhaps someone with more knowledge of Cousteau knows a reliable ciatation from the diver himself. (Before I gave up the search I found some sites obviously citing WP since they included the [citation needed] tag.) --Naaman Brown (talk) 08:13, 10 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
