I happen to agree with your point of view, but per WP:TALK#USE and WP:TALK#OJECTIVE, "Talk pages are for discussing the article, not for general conversation about the article's subject (much less other subjects). Keep discussions focused on how to improve the article. If you want to discuss the subject of an article, you can do so at Wikipedia:Reference desk instead," and "Talk pages are not a place for editors to argue their personal point of view about a controversial issue." 73.166.250.111 (talk) 19:23, 14 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
