Delete this redirect
edit@Hut 8.5: ...except that the target was an anchor and the anchor has been removed/deleted. Platonk (talk) 18:51, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- Doesn't matter, the target page does exist and it even mentions the article subject. You can list it at WP:RFD if you want it deleted. I should point out that the only reason the anchor doesn't exist at the page is because you removed it [1] claiming it was "Unused", and you were the one responsible for redirecting a previously existing article at thie title without explanation [2]. Frankly this behaviour strikes me as a bit disruptive. Hut 8.5 18:59, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Hut 8.5: That's right. I'm the only one cleaning up after a now-blocked refspamming advocate who left behind over 100 of these pages which he populated with citations to his own self-published stuff. It was someone on RFD who suggested G8 in this particular instance. Never mind about this one. And don't bother scolding for something I've been working on with others for months and you know nothing about. Platonk (talk) 19:16, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

- Your edit summary here [3] was completely untrue (the anchor was being used), and you knew that perfectly well, because two minutes later you asked for the deletion of this redirect on the grounds that the anchor didn't exist [4][5]. In other words you lied in order to try to get this page speedily deleted. Regardless of how justified your cause is, I don't take kindly to that. Hut 8.5 19:33, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- Of course I knew there was an anchor, because I am the one who put that anchor there when there was at least one other mainspace article calling for it (or I would have AGF'd the article instead of changing it to a redirect). It seems none use it now. I see you're upset, but there were no evil intentions involved here so please quit assuming motives that aren't there. Platonk (talk) 20:00, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
