Could use some qualification of where this protocol might be used? My impression is that is is rarely used theses days except for experimental purposes, and that other types of tunnels have virtually replaced it's use. Perhaps reference to VLAN, PPPoE and L2TP as alternate mechanisms in use to accomplish the same thing.
