Note for future

edit

To keep the List of Category 5 Pacific hurricanes topic featured, this article needs to be at good article status (or featured) within three months after the Tropical Cyclone Report is released. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 15:21, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

By my maths this needs to be up at GA by January 7 2011 since the TCR was released yesterday.Jason Rees (talk) 16:35, 8 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Reviewer: YE Tropical Cyclone This is an excellent article (I read it many many times since it was created), but I noted two issues. The first one was the image infobox is not of peak intensity, when there is one available and is listed. another problem is technically false info because did not Celia meet the criteria for rapid deeping it meet explosive deeping(unless I calculated it incorrectly). Good luck making those three minor improvements. The article is being placed on hold for 168 hours. YE Tropical Cyclone 14:07, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I hate and was extremely hesitant, but I have too fail the article. I strongly disagree with the consensuses, but oh well. There is nothing you can do about it. Oh well. I have assed it at B class though, but this still meets the GA criteria 5 of the 6 GA criteria. when It goes back to GAN, I am ready for review and will likely pass this article. Just a note about the main image, it's the best MODIS image available for the storm so it's preferable over the lower resolution (and quality) IR image when Celia was a Category 5. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 19:15, 28 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I know I am retired, but per request. I am reviewing this article for GAN. I mentioned all the issues in the first GAN, and they were replied. So, I will likely pass this page. YE Tropical Cyclone 02:13, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

It is official. Pass time. Congrats for CB. YE Tropical Cyclone 17:14, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
