The website HoganResults.com should remain a part of the "External Links" list. It is not merely a "fan site": it is an invaluable reference source for Hogan match listings, essential to anyone wishing to learn more about Hogan than just his story. Thank you.

New picture needed?

i just thought that we need another picture of him in the infobox, something from the glory days of hulkamania.Lord revan 17:54, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Does anyone know what kind of shirt he's wearing in the current picture? Thanks for reading. Dreamer61898 21:58, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

There is a new picture needed of Hogan in the 1980's with the world title. The one they got is really bad.Cashisclay 03:20, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

"Real American" on Beavis and Butt-Head

I saw the Beavis and Butt-Head episode that had Hogan's "Real American" music on there. I don't quite remembering it being critiqued by Beavis and Butt-Head. They sounded more like they liked the music and I don't really remember any criticism of it (except for when it was going, when Butt-Head said "homework sucks", but I'm not quite sure if he was referring to music or not).

A critique isn't always negative. For instance, if I said "Your post is cool." That is a critique of your quote.Mwutz 04:20, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Name origin?

Apparently - or so I read on Usenet, so who knows how reliable that is - Bollea once said, in a published interview, that he had been a big comics fan as a kid, and had therefore taken his stage name from two comic-book characters: a) the Hulk, and b) the obscure wrestler Crusher Hogan, who played a key role in the origin of Spider-Man. This is offered as an explanation for the name "Hulk Hogan" being listed as the intellectual property of Marvel Comics. Clearly, this doesn't mesh with the idea that Vince McMahon suggested "Hogan" out of a desire to portray the character as being Irish, but just as clearly, that could have been just another invention – wouldn't want to portray him as a comics geek, right? So, anyone know for sure? DS 13:50, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I actually explicitly remember Hogan saying in a televised interview for a documentary that the Hogan name was suggested because someone wanted his character to be Irish, to which Hogan quipped "a blonde Irish man". As to the origin of the Hulk nickname, I'm not entirely sure. I think I'll take the television interview with the man himself over a Usenet posting though. ;_ --Jtalledo (talk) 18:32, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The most widely circulated and probably most accurate, is that Vince McMahon Sr. wanted him to be an Irishman. He had go so far as to give Terry bottles of red hair dye, for the look. This has been confirmed by Hogan in numerous interviews, as well as Vince McMahon Jr. -- PHender864

--Vince McMahon Sr. offering the name "Hogan" to portray an Irish man and the name "Hulk" was taken from "The Incredable Hulk" this was also wrote about in his book "Hollywood Hulk Hogan"

'Hulk came from the fact that Hogan was told he looked like Lou Ferrigno and was muscled in a similar build. Or something along those lines. user: darkie

Birth name

I could have sworn I read somewhere that Terry, not the more formal Terrence, was Hogan's birth name given to him by his parents and that Terry was in fact the name on his birth certificate. Would anyone be able to verify this?

He was indeed born Terrance Gene Bollea. -- PHender864

He claimed once on the Jay Leno show that it wasn't "Terrence", "just Terry". —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.139.202.50 (talk) 15:47, 29 March 2007 (UTC).

Bash At The Beach '00

There's a school of thought that states the Bash At The Beach '00 where Russo came out to shoot on Hogan was mostly or completely a work. Russo has even admitted it recently, in a publication for his new religious promotion, Ring of Glory. (http://www.ringofglory.com/bash.htm) The only thing that appears to be 100% genuine is the lawsuit.

... However, being that none of the information surrounding this incident appears to be cut and dry, I'm not prepared to edit the article until I have some more input. Thoughts? --Pathogen 16:52, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

From what I understand, Russo's rant on Hogan was planned, but according to Hogan, he went way farther than he was supposed to, going into areas that Hogan defined as "defamation of character" and that's what the lawsuit was about. Leandar 04:45, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Stage names & Redirects

Other pro-wrestler pages, eg Batista , The Undertaker and The Rock (wrestler) redirect from the wrestler's stage name to an article titled with their birth names. However, in some other articles like Mark Twain and Robert Jordan (and this one, Hulk Hogan) the pseudonym is the main page.

What are the criteria for deciding which name ought to be the main one?

  • i think the names they are most recognised with should be used,as Hulk Hogan is by far the name most people know him as,have you ever searched for Robert Szatkowski(Rob Van Dam),Michael Francis Foley(Mick Foley) or Terrence Gene Bollea for that matter? probably not.--Lord Revan--

Hulk changed his last name from Bolea to Hogan, so he either goes by Terry Hogan or Hulk Hogan, but he prefers Hulk Hogan. Crazycarolina 18:29, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Hulk Hogan's Real Height

I know this is anecdotal evidence, and that this debate will likely go on for a ling time, if not indefinitly, but I am 196 cm (roughly 6'5"), and I met Hulk Hogan in the early 90's when I was just shy of growing to my full height, and he was significantly taller then I was. I don't remember exactly how tall I was, but I was very close to being done growing. I was certainly at least 194 cm. I will admit, though, that it's possible he could have been wearing lifts, or something, and I would not have noticed... but how big can lifts be? Soch 01:45, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Hogan's height is and has always been 194.8 cm, which is just under 6ft 4.5". Most of what is written here is incorrect. Cerebrospinal injury that leads to a decrease in three inches in height renders people hemiplegic as well as diplegic unless the nerves are tucked inwards and insulated, as any student of surgery will further confirm. This procedure leads to a lack of balance and renders patients unable to engage in sport. So, if Hogan said he has lost three inches, he is doing so to justify having endorsed the bolstering of his vital stats to 6'9" early in his career, and to 6'7" later on. Height doesn't work that way. It is proportional physiological entity, meaning that a loss of three inches in the back area would make him look a freak because his legs and arms would still be very long. He was 6'4" in college and has remained the same ever since. The following quote is available on IMDB: "He is almost 6' 5" tall, but has been billed up to 6' 9" in wrestling matches (nowadays usually at 6' 7")"

I personally believe Hogan used to be near 6'6" when he could stand perfectly straight. Now I believe he is 6'4", so he only lost 2". However, he didn't necessarily lose 2" in actual height, he just cannot stand up straight because of his back problems etc... So I believe he used to be 6'6", and is now 6'4". Since he has said he's now 6'4", lets stick with the 6'4" height instead of IMDB's 6'5" claim, as they do not check resources. The man said he's 6'4", then he's definitely no bigger than 6'4"! His peak height will remain debatable, so the current 6'4" height should suffice his page.

In Allure Magazine earlier this year, Hogan stated that he used to be 6'7". He states that now he is 6'4" after undergoing several back procedures, which affected his posture. There are several rumors that Hogan is 6'5". Why would you not believe Hogan? I would see no reason too, and that is why I believe he is actually 6'4", not 6'5"!

There are two things that you have to understand with regards to professional wrestling. 1) All heights and weights are generally exaggerated. 2) Hulk Hogan for the better part of the last five years, never seems to keep his stories straight when it comes to his career etc... He has contridicted himself on many occasions. During the buildup to WrestleMania III, Hogan was listed as 6'9" while being billed as both 6'7" or 6'6" throughout his career. It was confirmed years ago that Hogan was 6'5" in his prime, but is now about 6'4" -- PHender864

-- (Actually, it was his "Rocky" character,"Thunderlips", who was listed at 7'. This was to make Stallone a believeable 6'!) He says 6'7", I'll go with 6'7"! He has had many surgeries that has taken 3" off of his peak height years ago. When standing center-ring next to 7'1",(max), Shaquille O'Neill, Hogan appeared at -least- 9" shorter making him 6'4'.

--Anyone who recalls Hogan standing next to Shaquille O'Neill center-ring knows that their height difference is -extreme-. Shaquille is listed as 7'1", (basketball also exaggerates player's heights), and was -way- more than 1/2 foot, taller,(which would've made HH 6'7"). 6'4' is fair. Age is not a height-lessening factor for a man in his early fifties. Surgery wouldn't take more than a fraction of an inch off, unless it virtually crippled him, too.

--Dennis Rodman has admitted that he is only 6’6”, even though the NBA listed him at 6’8” for years. According to Rodman they simply said how tall he was, and all other NBA players are with their basketball shoes on. Also called “court height”

For a while in the late 90s Rodman toured with WCW. He was significantly taller than Hogan. Even if Rodman was 6’8” (which he claims he is not) that would still have made Hogan only 6’5” then, and at that time Hogan would NOT yet ave lost any height.

Rodman is not the only NBA star to say he is actually 2” shorter than the NBA lists him. Others include Shaq 6’11.5” , and Ben Wallace who said he is actually 6’7” and NOT 6’9”.

Any way, when is comes to only 2” we splitting hairs. Either way you slice is 6’5” or 6'7”; Hogan is very tall.

As opposed to what someone said early you can shrink with age. There are numerous diseases and disorders that are very common to people over 6 feet when they get old, particularly if they gain weight. I know that my father was 6'3 from his driver license(they measure your height in algeria) and that he is now the same height as me (6'). It appears that Hogan is in reality 6'4 but probably 6'4.5+ because he is credited with being 6'5. For what ever reason it is believed they lie about his height being 6'7. In fact he has been credited to be 6'9 on some occasions

Regardless I think the measurement of when you see him next to dennis rodman or Sting, or even randy savage. Rodman is 6'8 (some say 6'6 but 6'8 is the official), does Hogan even look with close to Rodmans height. Just do a google search. He faces off with Sting on several occasions and you can clearly see through a google search that Hogan is slighty taller than Sting but not by more than an inch or two at most. Hogan cannot be more than 6'5, Rodman towers him too much for Hogan to be 6'7, and Sting is too close in height to Hogan for him to be 6'7 and the two too look each other in the eye.

Hogan's legit height is 6'4, tho he may have pushed neaer to 6'5 in his youth. The increasing of the height is the old wreslting add-on. I don't know why someone has put his 'ring' height in his bio, when most of the other wrestlers on here have their correct height listed (Andre, Nash, Austin et al)

-- When Hogan and Triple H were wrestling for the WWF Hevyweight Title, Hogan was taller than Triple H who is 6'4" so I think 6'7" for Hogan is right on.

Look at Hogan standing next to 6'9 Kevin Nash. Do you think Hogan is 2inches shorter than Nash?

With that point in mind I would say his height is 6'5" because when you look at the famous Rock vs Hogan staredown with The Rock billed at 6'4" he does have one inch on him... then again Hogan never stands straight up, he always bends at the knees.

Looking at this pic, Hulk may be an inch taller than Rock. http://www.wrestlingworld.it/Historical/Biografie/hogan2/Capitolo%205%20n1.jpg , Niether seem to be standing up straight. Hogan does have a bigger head though.(Halbared 09:52, 16 April 2006 (UTC))

At WMIII, Jesse Ventura stated that Hogan was 6'8". He's simply just not that tall, you can tell that whenever you see him out of his wrestling gear and wearing regular clothing. While he's still a pretty tall guy, I'd place him between 6'3" and 6'5" in height. It's common for promotions, and sometimes wrestlers, to increase their height and weight to reinforce the image of them being so much physically imposing and greater than the "average" person. It's not uncommon for wrestlers to have boots specially made to increase their height. Glen Jacobs, better known as Kane, wore boots like that when he first arrived in the WWE. Odin's Beard

I agree, I estimate he is 6'4, and prolly never more than 6'5. 6'10 Andre towers over him here, www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/pictures/00/hoganandrecelebrate2.jpg, and this is a good reference for the NWO squad, http://www.accelerator3359.com/Wrestling/pictures/gallery17.jpg. If one has any judgement of scale whatsoever one cannot think Hogan was anywhere near 6'7.(Halbared 11:20, 27 April 2006 (UTC))

That picture confused me because Scott Hall is billed as 6'7" and hogan is right there with him.

I am guessing that both Scott and Hulk are the same height and have the same height added to them. Work from the bottom down, we know Show is between 6'11"-7". Nash is around 3 inches shorter nd so on. The rule of thumb seems to be, add at least 2 inches to your real height, and if you are a giant, add 3-4 inches.(Halbared)

If you watch the opening of the show on VH1, Hogan Knows Best, where her and his family are all just sort of standing in front of the camera, his daughter doesn't look all that much shorter than him. I'm not sure what Brooke's height is, anyone know? Just from looking at the show, Brooke looks to be around 5'10" to me and her father doesn't look to have no more than 4 inches in height over her, at least that's how it looks to me. Odin's Beard

That would make him 6'4" because Brooke is 6' tall that sounds about right because this disscusion has him at about 6'4" or 6'5"

I changed it to 6'8 and 307 pounds as it is his keyfabe height. I see no reason to list his true height as others such as Triple H and Batista are listed as the heights given from WWE.com. - Joe—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.124.113.66 (talkcontribs) 18:22, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Wiki protocol is to go off the ebsat information, we have the legit heights for most wrestlers as we can get them, and for Hoagn, he admits to being 6 ft 4 in, WWE.com is used when no other better height can be got, also, they list him as 6 ft 7 in anyway I think.(Halbared 21:07, 11 September 2006

In Feb 2005 Allure interview he said: "I used to be 6ft 7, but after knee, neck and back surgeries I'm now about 6ft 4". This seems about right. Hogan was 6' 7 at his peak and now 6' 4 . Plus people lose height with age its a proven medical fact.

Whatever his real height is the article says "billed height", and yet it says 6'7. His billed height is 6'9, NOT 6'7.

I think it was last years season when her parents mentioned Brooke's height. They said she was about 5'11" to 6'. She's a very tall girl.

I've seen Hulk Hogan at the Gold's Gym in South Beach where I work out and I would say 6'4" is about right.

AWA Title reigns?

Where does it say Hogan's AWA Title reigns were validated? Under the AWA World Heavyweight Title history on this very site, it still does not list him ever holding that Title.

[1] McPhail 17:32, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

"AWA stars" only owns the name, they aren't recognized by anybody who knows anything as the real AWA or even it's extension. They don't even own the tape library. It's just an indy fed that promotes itself under that name.

AWA Superstars of Wrestling controls the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. [2] Consequently, they can recognise whomsoever they desire as former AWA champions. McPhail 22:36, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

The second link you gave does not list Hogan ever holding that Title.

It does, however, state that "The rights to the AWA are purchased by Dale Gagne; the promotion reopens as the AWA Superstars of Wrestling." If you consult the first link I provided, you will see that AWA Superstars of Wrestling has chosen to recognise Hogan as champion, which is their prerogative. McPhail 12:47, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

About Hogans DVD's

Where can I find Hulk Hogan: I'm Comin For You! anywhere (looked on Amazon and Ebay) I have every Hogan DVD but, never heard of it please tell me how I can find it, also, does anyone know when Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology will be released.

Hi, as for the Ultimate Anthology, I heard it was suppose to come out on April 4th 2006. But I still haven't seen anything out on it, I've even went to WWE.com and there is no mention of it on there DVD releases. Like a month ago they mentioned it, but now when I went to the DVD/home video part; there is nothing on it. Or that I went to FYE.com and other electric websites that sells DVDs, if it's already out it'll be on there and it's not or sometimes they'll give a release date and I haven't seen that either. So From my looking with my own thought on the search, the DVD release date was either moved back or someone at WWE decided to cancel the making of it since there is no mention on the WWE website. I say that because you would think that the WWE would be promotting it during Raw/Smackdown if it were out or going to be out soon as they have been with they're other releases like Diva/Billy Graham/Bret Hart and Dusty Rhodes. If someone does have any info about it coming out, please let me know too. Joe

Hello again, I was the person what wrote the second question up above. But I found out more about the DVD for the person with the first question up above if they happen to see this again, I don't know or for anyone else that might want to know too. But from http://www.highspots.com/product.asp?id=14393, this website; you can look for yourself if you want too. They are saying that it's coming out in November.

Controversy

I've made big changes to the HBK/Hogan segment. Much of it used made up quotes, incorrect facts, included too many opinions and I don't realy think a wrestling angle should count as a controversy.

Someone should add something about him being an award winning surfer, as well as his tryout with the New York Jets.

Whilst amusing, it's not encyclopedic, so delete it. I think it originates from Scott Keith's rants, where he jokes about the fact that it's a move totally lacking in offensive value but oversold to the pin. Essexmutant 08:51, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Hogan's knee problems are real. He's had at least one of them already replaced and I don't recall if the other has been replaced yet. That was why he had the knee brace on during his 2002-2003 WWE run. He's had at least one knee replaced and one of his hips replaced. Leandar 16:27, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Question!

Ok, so he is a person who is famous yeah, but why? Why him? Why not someone else? Also, what is so amazing about a manly soap opera? (I am refering to wretling shows), it isn't so great, so people fake to hate each other, if someone wants that then so see a movie or something. But seriously I need some convincing here, what is so great about it and why? Sure people like their shows, but they have a reason, and yet I lack to hear reason on this topic. By the way because its cool or fun isn't a good enough answer. An example of a good answer would be because I was brought up one it or because I like the plot usage, or I like the story line, or I like the characterization...etc. anyhow I just want to know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 167.135.18.236 (talk) 18:32, 18 January 2007 (UTC).

What purpose would it serve for someone to give you their reasons? Saying that the plot usage isn't enough, nor the storyline, nor the characterizations that the wrestlers use. There's not much else left. It simply sounds as if you've got your mind set to dislike wrestling regardless of anyone's reasons. Nothing wrong with that though, whatever flops your mop.Odin's Beard 01:03, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Agreed though I do think it is worth looking for article/books that explain why Hogan became such a phenomenon in the 1980s. UT4LIFE 03:07, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
I think the initial post raises a good issue. There are two ways of looking at Hogan's career; one is in the context of the world of professional wrestling, where the story is written by writers. The other is the life of the person. In the entry for Matthew Perry we don't discuss the biography of Chandler Bing, a character he portrayed (except in the metanarrative sense). When the article talks about successes (like winning wrestling matches) aren't we really saying "some writer thought the crowd would like it if the guy with the bandana won"? As it is, this article mixes the two. We should break this article in two, one with the biography of the man, and one with the biography of the character. Lauciusa 18:08, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Hogan's new 20-year contract

Why did someone remove the reference to Hogan signing a new 20-year contract?? On the 2/18/07 episode of Hogan Knows Best, Hogan is shown with Vince McMahaon, in McMahon's office at WWE headquarters, signing a 20-year contract which will expire when Hogan is 73.

If you want to get technical about it, the episode didn't show Hogan signing anything. Hogan did give the impression that he either had signed or had intended to sign the contract. If I'm not mistaken, that episode was taped sometime last summer. A lot of things have changed. According to Hogan, who appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge show today, he never signed the 20 year deal. Odin's Beard 00:20, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
If you want to get incredibly technical, the contract wasn't even anything close to a talent contract. It was a licensing deal that gave permission for WWE to create Hogan action figures, use his likeness and name on DVD's, etc. which makes it hardly notable to begin with. Bmg916 Speak to Me 00:24, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the updated info. You're right, the episode did not show Hogan signing anything, but it did show Hogan shaking on the deal with McMahon, and then telling his family that he was "gonna" sign the deal, saying that he'd be 73 when it expires. Yes, the big bulk of the deal, per the episode, was for licensing. But in terms of your claim that "the contract wasn't even anything close to a talent contract," that's not accurate. McMahon and Hogan were shown specifically talking about and verbally agreeing that Hogan would perform at least six times per year and that additional appearances would be by "mutual agreement." The episode clearly gave the impression that this was a done deal. "Reality" TV? I don't think so.

According to Impactwrestling.com, Hogan did in fact sign a 20-year conract. They said, "Regarding the '20-year contract' with WWE and Hulk Hogan, the deal is not an exclusive wrestling contract. What it really is in the end is a very big time licensing deal, that is for 20-years, which allows WWE to use the Hulk Hogan name and image in whatever way they see fit for promotion with Hogan getting a set fee every year. In essence, it's a glorified legend's contract." Although it is not an "exclusive wrestling conract," it does include SOME talent work, which ties in to the discussion on Hogan Knows Best of six minimum appearances in the ring per year.

Supra

In A issue Of Super Street (Dec 05 I THINK) they show Nick's and Hulk's Surpa's...That is a Neat triva thing to add to this page. Z3R0_117(yes im unrestered DEAL WITH IT)

References are seriously needed.

If this is going to get FA status there needs to be a reference section added and a load of references. Govvy 21:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

I have added some more ref's from wwe.com but could really do with references from other sources also. Govvy

Citation

I would like a citation where it says that nobody has ever held the WWF/WWE Championship then a year after Hogan's first reign. I remember reading somewhere (can't remember where), but it said that Macho Man Randy Savage held the WWF Championship for over a year. So please provide a citation. 04:18, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Savage won the championship at WrestleMania IV on March 27, 1988 and lost it to Hogan 371 days later at WrestleMania V on April 2, 1990.Nenog 04:24, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
True, and then the next longest reign is just under a year and is Hogan himself:
Hulk Hogan WWE 363 days April 2, 1989 April 1, 1990 Whitstable 11:40, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Without doing exact calculations I can't be sure but I think John Cena may be coming close to matching or breaking this streak if he hasn't already. Leandar 05:09, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
John Cena won the title at Unforgiven 06. He still has a few months to go.

TV and Film Section

I was thinking that Hulk Hogan needs a new section to cover all the tv and films he has done. He has done a fair number of films and that could certainly warrant a section on it's own. Just wanted some other people's thoughts before I proceeded. Govvy 14:18, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Hulk Hogan (Memphis Wrestling)

Hi. I have watched the match and the promo of Hulk Hogan vs. Paul "The Great" Wight in Memphis Wrestling. In the promo, Hulk Hogan mentioned that he was going to repeat history by lifting up Paul Wight over the head and slammed him for the victory after the leg drop. Paul Wight said in the promo that he was not going to let Hulk Hogan let history repeat itself by letting Hulk Hogan slamming Paul Wight. Hulk Hogan also mentioned that he was going to show his son and his daughter what he did to Andre The Giant at Wrestlemania III by doing the same to Paul Wight. The Wrestlemania III was mostly talked about while both Hulk Hogan and Paul Wight were doing the promo. All of the ring announcers have mentioned that the match that both Hulk Hogan and the Big Show had was the match that the WWE could not deliver. So as the result of that, even though the match should have happened at Wrestlemania 23, it happened at the Memphis wrestling's PMG Clash Of The Legends instead. Both the PMG Clash Of The Legends and Wrestlemania 23 pay-per-view happened in the same month of April. I think it is notable to add more points that Hulk Hogan made history again by slamming Paul "The Giant" Wight and beat him like how he beat Andre The Giant. Thank You. Terry 'Hulk' Hogan performing with Earth Wind & Fire

Can anyone verify for me when Hogan performed with Eather Wind & Fire? I know that he did in studio work with them playing bass guitar and also filled in occassionally on stage playing bass guitar when needed. When did these 'events' happen? Thank you!

Hulk Hogan's wrestlemania 23 match

Hi. I have put in some notable information about Hulk Hogan. I mentioned the following;

Hulk Hogan was supposed to have his fifth run and wrestle The Big show at Wrestlemania 23 but that match could not happened because of Big Show's retirement. The Big Show was then replaced by The Great Khali to be Hulk Hogan's opponent but due to paying disputes between Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon, that match did not happen. As the result of that, Hulk Hogan's was replaced by Kane who did bodyslammed to The Great Khali which was what Hulk Hogan did to the late Andre The Giant twenty years earlier at Wrestlemania III.

During the Memphis Wrestling section, I mentioned:

The match between The Big Show and Hulk Hogan was the match that should have happened at Wrestlemana 23 and what the WWE could not deliver. These important message had been removed. Message me back. Thank you. Iron Scorp 16:48, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

My last message

Can somebody please get back to me about my last message? Thank you.Iron Scorp 18:05, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Not sure, but maybe there was no reference cited? Someone will need to confirm. With these wrestling articles, heaps of people put up items which are hearsay, rumour, POV...etc so maybe keep that in mind.--Mikecraig 22:28, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Memphis Wrestling section

Please do not edit the memphis wrestling section about Hulk Hogan bodyslamming Paul Wight just like he did to Andre the Giant. This information is notable. Message me back for a discussion if there is a problem with the article before editing it. Thank you.Iron Scorp 12:33, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

hogan has been in alot more movies than that for example McCINSEY'S ISLAND and Secret Agent Club

Hulk Hogan's Pastamania to be merged

I think it should be merged as it relates to the person in question as one of his business ventures. What does everyone think? --Mikecraig 22:59, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Article said he headlined 8 of the first 10 Wrestlemanias. The 10th Wrestlemania was in 1994 and Hogan was already gone from the WWF, so it makes no sense to add the 10th one on. --Somedude
