Looked this up after the character was mentioned in an episode of MST3k. I have wikified it a bit and removed a block of three paragraphs which appeared twice. Still lots of problems- no reliable refs and in-universe style. I really know nothing about the subject: I don't remember the shows ever being broadcast in the UK. Tags added to the article; it has never been improved since its inception, and has been edited a whopping five times in the past two years. Will be redirected to The Andy Griffith Show if article remains in its current state. This is not an AGS wiki. sixtynine• speak up •17:44, 7 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
