I am HOSTILE. Hostility suckzzz. Goes hand in hand with ANGER!
Attachment goes hand in hand with anger and hatred. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.123.149.36 (talk) 07:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
I think this page needs some improvement and perhaps an adoption, as it's incomplete in it's discussion of what Hostility is, but I don't have the time or currently the sources to do that so I'm gonna edit this talk page in classic gnome style in hopes that someone looks at the page. Perhaps I will come along later but I'm hoping one of you other late night wiki editors comes along and do some wonders. My bravery comes later Motosierra (talk) 07:23, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
This page is inaccurately classified
editThis page is listed under "emotions." But it does not describe hostility as an emotional reaction. It describes hostility as a specialized term used by psychologists.
The simplest fix woulb be to change this to "Hostility (psychology)" and create a new page "Hostility (emotion)" which would be linked to in the Emotion list. 71.99.61.117 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added on 19:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC).
- I concur with most of the above. The meaning given here is definitely not the primary meaning of "hostile" and "hostility"; it is not even listed in dictionaries. However, hostility in the common meaning of enmity or antagonism is also not an emotion (although often accompanied by the emotion of anger), so the easiest fix is to make this a disambiguation page. --Lambiam 11:14, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
