Title?
editThe term Flakhelfer generation is significantly more common than Hitler Youth generation, at least in German[1][2] and refers to the same age cohort more or less. That name also has the benefit of being less pejorative (t · c) buidhe 11:19, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
- That's interesting. I have had a look and think "Hitler Youth generation" does have more currency in English but we should certainly mention it. It seems the popularity of the German term comes from the success of Heinz Bude's Deutsche Karrieren. Lebenskonstruktionen sozialer Aufsteiger aus der Flakhelfer-Generation (1987).
