This article is about Cuban Jews, Jewish Cubans, Jews of Cuba, Jew Cubans or whatever you want to call them. If you want to write an article about the slang term used for these people, go make one over at the Wiktionary of your choice. If you want to write about the actual ethnic minority, move the article to an appropriate title and stop inserting anecdotal nonsense about slang.

This article is disgraceful; half of it parrots some New York Times article, with no mention of the recent arrest of Alan Gross seeking to provide aid to Jewish groups on the island. Chris4.0 (talk) 22:55, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Jewban"

edit
This term is familiar throughout the Spanish and Portuguese speaking territories in South America, the Caribbean and the United States.

I've removed this as it seems unlikely an ethnic pun based on an English word ("Jew") would catch on in non-English speaking countries.--Pharos 05:36, 30 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
