obviously every language ever spoken could be in the list. it is pointless to strive for completeness here. I created this article to take some load off List of extinct languages which should concentrate on languages that have no living descendents, or even languages that went extinct in recent times. dab (ᛏ) 18:13, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
