Yes I have been involved in development of many list-articles. I think the current title "Historic fire stations of Birmingham, Alabama" is fine and cannot be improved. I like how the title clearly allows for coverage of the main topic, besides just listing them. There are lots of pairs of articles (e.g. Octagon house and List of octagon houses) where the list-article can be viewed as having been split out of the main topic. I prefer the combo in one rather than having main plus list. Using "List of ..." is not required and is less done now than it used to be. There is some general guidance at wp:LISTNAME but it doesn't really reflect the extent of movement away from using "List of". Hope this helps. --doncram20:10, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

We've gone back and forth about whether the stations should have standalone articles. If standalone articles are possible, feel free to expand the following redirects:
It's fine for you to suggest that, though IMO it's best to provide complete coverage in this one list-article. IMO there's no need to split out any articles due to length of their sections here, which are all manageable and provide full enough coverage of their topics. YMMV. To future editors, those previous discussions were at:
Right, I was just supplying the redirect pages for use if needed in the future and to identify redirects to this list. Thanks for sharing links to previous discussions. ---Another Believer(Talk)20:30, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
