Him Mark Lai (麥禮謙), his family name

edit

Regarding Him Mark Lai's family name. If his Chinese name is the proper way his name is given in Chinese, then his family name is Mark (麥), not Lai (禮).

To romanise 麥禮謙, we would write Mark Lai Him. I do understand that he published under Him Mark Lai though. So, the real question now is what is Him Mark Lai's family name? If according to the way the chinese is written, it is Mark and not Lai. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.134.10.20 (talk) 14:18, 14 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

In San Francisco, ROC loyalists targeted the Chinese American Democratic Youth League, or Min Qing, and the Chinese Workers Mutual Aid Association.

New York documentary filmmaker Amy Chen brings this era to life in "The Chinatown Files," a documentary premiering Monday (March 12, 2001) at the Asian American Film Festival in San Francisco. The film, which took 10 years to produce, focuses on the lives of seven people, five of whom lived in San Francisco.
