Did some reworking and expansion. Still needs much work and some cites. Will come back to it when I get time.Improbcat 20:19, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
B-52
editRon Aguirre is commonly accepted as the first person to create a custom car with hydraulically adjustable suspension. In 1959 he scavenged the Pesco pumps and valves from a B-52 Bomber and adapted them to the front suspension of his X-Sonic bubble-topped custom Corvette, allowing him to change the height of the car with a switch on the dashboard.
Sure? The B-52 was brand new at that time and thousands of old aircraft were scrapped in the 50's instead. Lastdingo (talk) 13:48, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
US ban
editDoes anyone know why it was banned in the US in the 1970s? --188.102.52.195 (talk) 20:55, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
