Wrong photo
Please note that the portrait said to be of Gustavus Myers is not of Gustavus Myers. It's of an unidentified eighteenth-century figure; he looks like James Madison, but he is not James Madison. -- Rbb1787 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rbb1787 (talk • contribs) 22:12, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
It is quite obvious that the person in the picture is not someone who lived at the time of Gustavus Myers. Could we have someone who is not being subjected to systematic harassment delete it? Wowest (talk) 06:28, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
There person in the picture is John Jacob Astor. Don-auer 13:12, 18 February 2010.
- I've pulled the picture of the person who is NOT Gustavus Myers. I've got one of him around somewhere in my library, I think, I'll see if I can dig it up. Carrite (talk) 22:26, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
