Groot Slang isn't Dutch
editIn Dutch it would be "grote slang". In Afrikaans it might be correct, but I'm not sure about this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.190.253.146 (talk) 20:40, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- What about grootstad, grootmeester, grootvader, etc.? In Dutch the adjective sometimes loses its -e when forming a noun. Morgengave (talk) 18:27, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Old uncited info
editI removed some info that discussed plural grootslangs and their habits which had been uncited since 2012. That info's repeated in various forms all over the internet, but I can't find an older mention of it than that revision. CaribouFanfare (talk) 23:40, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
