Liverpool and Manchester vs. Stockton and Darlington

edit

Why the comparison with the Liverpool and Manchester Railway? The Stockton and Darlington Railway opened to steam traffic in September 1825, a full year before. Lumos3 22:13, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The comparison is because that's the way it was mentioned in one of the references. I suppose that if we look further, we may find that he had contacted L&M engineers about the logistics, but don't know yet. slambo 00:16, Apr 2, 2005 (UTC)
