Governor of Sool in Puntland

edit

@Seepsimon: I saw your edit. Since this article is about the "Governor of Sool", it is natural to write about the Governor of Sool in Puntland. Although Somaliland now effectively controls most of Sool, it is not complete, and not long ago Puntland effectively controlled some territory, so the position cannot be accurately understood without describing the Governor of Sool in Puntland. Where is the governor of sool under puntland? The region has only one effective governer Boame don't have local government, it is a disputed territory. The governor of sool of somaliland have visited boame recently. I have provided the source related to that article First create a wikipedia page for the online governor and then add reliable sources related to that governor. Boame town don't have local government. It is a disputed territory no government had effectively occupied the town. Seepsimon (talk) 08:43, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Seepsimon: Since the Puntland government has officially appointed a Governor of Sool, it does not matter where that person is located.--Freetrashbox (talk) 08:50, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
the article is related to the functioning real sool governors. There is only one Dejure Governer in the entire region that visits and works in every corner of the region.
You said puntland occupied boame effectively
I said to you the governors of sool somaliland visited so many times. My question is if puntland had effectively occupied the town, how did the governors of sool under somaliland visit the town? How did the somaliland national army visit the town? No government had effectively occupied boame so far plus there isn't local government at all. It is the only town where there isn't effective government in the entire Sool.you can't claim the governor of sool due that town where the governors of sool under somaliland can visit any time, Where there isn't local government plus a disputed town with no effective government. @Seepsimon: That is your personal opinion. An article should not give undue weight to minor aspects of its subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight proportional to its treatment in the body of reliable, published material on the subject. See WP:BALASP. My description does not mislead the reader as it shows that Somaliland has effective control over most of Sool at this time.--Freetrashbox (talk) 10:14, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
It isn't my opinion. It is reality. I said to you create a wikipedia page with reliable sources for that unknown governor whose seat is in puntland. Wikipedia needs more reality than opinion. The region has only one effective governor. The disputed town don't have effective local government. Delegations from both sides visits any time. The article is related to the governor's who have effectively functioning regional governmental seat in sool. Seepsimon (talk) 19:13, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Seepsimon:Your opinion is not logical. Somaliland troops occupied Bo'ame in May 2022. Following your logic, someone who has never visited Bo'ame, e.g. former Sool Governor in Somaliland, Abdiqani Mohamoud Jidhe, is not considered a Sool Governor. Rather, it is clear that Abdiqani Mohamoud Jidhe was Governor of Sool.
The "Dispute of Boame town" section you wrote is also inappropriate as it is. The Sool governor was not occupied Boame. You must add the relevance between this occupation and Sool governor.
Your another opinion, I said to you create a wikipedia page with reliable sources for that unknown governor whose seat is in puntland. is also wrong. The content of the page is determined by the title of the page. Since the title of this article is "Governor of Sool," information about the Governor of Sool should be consolidated here. There is no reason why this article should be limited about Somaliland. Articles should not be divided unnecessarily. See WP:NPOVFACT.--Freetrashbox (talk) 21:54, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am telling to you there isn't functioning nor known governor of sool under puntland.
In 2022 Boame town is under disputed situation. You said puntland effectively occupied the town that is totally wrong. Both Somaliland national army and the sool governor visited the town this year. Plus I didn't say somaliland occupied the town effectively. I only said there is no government effectively occupied the town. The reason why you included the unknown governor's under puntland to the article was due to mentioning that boame town is effectively occupied by puntland and the governor are located there. And finally the reason why I am asking you to create a wikipedia page for the unknown sool governor under puntland is only for provement. Because this article is related to the Governor of sool. You have to prove that he is located in boame since boame don't have functioning governmental seat at the moment. In the Mean time we can add this statement "puntland appoints governors for the region but no governor have governmental seat in the disputed town of boame. Most of the region is effectively controlled by the governor of sool region of somaliland while the disputed town haven't effective government as the delegations from both government visited and that there is military activities there. @Seepsimon:I do not understand why I have to prove that the Governor of Sool in Puntland is in Boame. Wherever they are, there is no doubt that they are the governor appointed by the Puntland government. Since Puntland had effective control over at least part of Sool in the past, it is appropriate to write the description of Governor of Sool in Puntland here. If the Governor of Sool in Puntland is not functioning substantially today, then it is inappropriate to erase the description, as it is simply a matter of writing it under a reliable source. Wikipedia articles should be written from a broad perspective based on reliable sources.--Freetrashbox (talk) 05:57, 23 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
you can't include the unknown governor's to the article only by appointment and compare them with the real governor's located in sool and are on duty
If you can't prove that the governor of sool is located in boame. If you can't prove he has governmental seat in boame, if you can't prove information about his duty. Then you won't include them here. This article is created for the real governers of the region those are in duty and located in the region. If you need you can add a new section related to the governor's of puntland under or by replacing the section dispute of boame town but not in the old format that you have made. In the old format you made both governors in the same status that each of them controls effectively some area. But the reality isn't that most area is controlled effectively by the Governor of sool in somaliland while some area are under disputed status where there isn't local government present there. @Seepsimon: My description clearly states that "most of Sool is effectively controlled by Somaliland", so there is no possibility of misunderstanding as you suggest. Also, since it is the Governor of Sool who is appointed by the Puntland government, not the Mayor of Boame, we can't describe it in the article Bo'ame.
