External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Gordon Tietjens. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20120530074123/http://www.irb.com:80/history/halloffame/newsid=2062152.html to http://www.irb.com/history/halloffame/newsid=2062152.html#gordon+tietjens+inducted+irb+hall+fame
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20140102193828/http://www.allblacks.com/news/15120/2010-Steinlager-Rugby-Awards-winners-announced to http://www.allblacks.com/news/15120/2010-Steinlager-Rugby-Awards-winners-announced
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Prefix
editIs there a reason Tietjens' knighthood and prefix are not represented in the infobox in the common form (i.e. prefix/Name/suffix) @Paora you've reverted my edit, but just wondered if there was a particular logic to it. Many thanks. OGBC1992 (talk) 09:24, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- @OGBC1992: Yes, there is a logic. Sir is a prenominal, and that is why it is also in bold in the lede as part of the subject's name. This is in contrast to honorific prefixes such as The Honourable or The Right Honourable, which are presented in the way that you describe above, and are not included as part of the subject's name in the article lede. Hope that helps! Paora (talk) 21:44, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
