editGordon was a good friend to me and teacher, I replaced him in "The Alabama Hayriders" when he was too busy with session work to continue with the band, I was with him at Top of the Pops when he played for Barbara Dixon on her hit "Answer me" and another time when he played "Misty" with Ray Stevens, one of the last big tours he played on was with Andy Williams on his European tour. Gordon was inducted into the European Steel Guitar Hall of Fame at one of my Steel players meetings on the 24th of January 2010, his award was accepted by his Daughter Lisa, and his Son Jeff Huntley. I find it strange that he is not listed in "Notable" pedal Steel Players on Wikapedia? John Davis
