editThis is a little confusing but the description at File:Goat Peak lookout tower.jpg says that the look tower in the photo is at an elevation of 7001 feet. There is another summit named Goat Peak about a mile ENE of Mount Rainer with an elevation of 7001 feet. The topographic map shows that there is a lookout on that summit as well. The cabs look almost identical in the file I removed and in the panorama but it could be one of the Forest Service's standard models. –droll [chat] 04:04, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Goat Peak in British Columbia
editThere is another Goat Peak—which at ~2,470 m elevation is higher than the one described in this article—overlooking Pemberton Valley in British Columbia, Canada. Perhaps we should disambiguate? (References: Google Maps, BC Geographical Names) — Jaydiem (talk) 20:54, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
