Gaidhlig "Ghleann Shiel" -- is this right?
editHi there, and thanks for this brief but useful article on Glen Shiel.
I have limited and very basic knowledge of Sc. Gaelic. I'm wondering if the Gaidhlig "Ghleann Shiel" is the most appropriate rendering, or if it should be "Gleann Shiel". Gleann (with no h) is the unslenderized word, usually used for the nominative, un-inflected.
Other Wikipedia entries for Scottish place-names starting with "Glen-" usually render the Gaidhlig as "Gleann".
Again -- just asking the question, no other context to go on other than similar names and grammar. Best regards, - Dave —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.105.54.33 (talk) 13:16, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
