Mid-credit scene needing citation?

I noticed that the mid-credit scene is listed as needing citation. I'm curious as to why and how you would need a citation for a mid-credits scene in the recap? Doesn't it stating it's a mid-credits scene cover where it comes from?
I've seen a ton of recaps/summaries on Wikipedia for movies (pretty much any comic book superhero movie) list a description/summary of a mid-credits scene that never showed any type of citation before, so that made no sense to me. I was going to remove it, but I didn't want to do something that might go against some type of newer policy for mid-credits scenes.
Can someone clarify please? I'd appreciate it so I know what to do when/if I come across it again in the future.

- Generally speaking, it is not required, but I think in this case, someone who has never seen the other films would not know the context. So it would be a kind of specialist knowledge (being a fan of Ghostbusters) to know that. So I could see an inline citation being appropriate to provide that context. - Thank you for your help. I appreciate it. From what I can tell, especially with your answer, it isn't needed. Since there are mini stay puft marshmallows in this movie, it doesn't need to be referenced to one of the older films. It really is just a standard cut scene.
