The origins of the bible
editI think the article needs to mention the giving of the bible to saint john's lodge by Jonathan Hampton who was a leading figure in Elizabethtown, New Jersey, and responsible for a lot of the political history of colonial Jersey, built the Military Road to Minisink to supply the the Delaware River fortifications during the French and Indian War, and ironically given this bible's use by Washington, a likely Tory during the Revolution before his death in 1777. It would add to the article as well as shed light on an interesting dynamic in early American history. --ColonelHenry (talk) 16:43, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
A simple piece of information lacking in this article, which bible version is it? That is basic. it is like having an article on a king's pet, and speaking on where he took the pet, how he cared for the pet, where he kept the pet, but forgetting to mention what kind of animal it is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.128.125.106 (talk) 16:08, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
